• DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENTS (for 500 Personnel)The United Nations Organization Stabilization Mission in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (MONUSCO) intends to establish a long term contract for the Lease of land and built-up infrastructure in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo.The premises will accommodate approximately 500 personnel and must meet or exceed the following minimum requirements:Parcel of land, of size 18,000m² with sufficient space for vehicle circulation andemergency accessBuildings (hardwall or similar) suitable for accommodating the following structures: a) Office space: 4,000m² open-plan office areas, individual offices and meeting rooms b) Conference facilities: 400m² c) Welfare facilities: 1,000m² Space for Dining facilities, Kitchen/catering support area d) Recreational/rest areas e) Communications infrastructure: 1,700m² f) Toilets, include 30 segregated cubicles and ablution facilities g) Parking for approximately 150 light (5 x 3m) and 20 heavy duty (10 x 4m) vehicles with Internal circulation roads suitable for heavy vehicle manoeuvring h) The Land and buildings should be in an accessible area within the UNDSS defined security perimeter of Kinshasa (Commune of Gombe, as well as parts of the Communes of Kintambo, Ngaliema, and Barumbu). i) Structurally sound and compliant with applicable building codes j) Suitable for immediate or near-immediate occupancy k) Capable of supporting secure UN operations l) Accessible by paved road networks w...
