- Expression of Interest are invited for Capital Management/ICAAP Specialist. 1. Undertake a detailed review/ diagnosis of the existing capital management framework. Recommend and implement measures to address any identified gaps. 2. High-level review of skills and experience levels of staff currently involved in capital management and risk management including at the Management and Board level 3. Design and deliver training on best practice capital management approaches including ICAAP and build capacity within our client banks 4. Undertake a detailed review of the capital management governance frameworks and support implementation of global standards in this area 5. Investigate the regulatory requirements relating to ICAAP and undertake a gap analysis of the approach in our client institutions. 6. Identify the areas for improvements with reference to current regulatory requirements and international best practice standards. 7. Assist in the development and maintenance of the ICAAP policy. 8. Review risk governance, organizational structure, reporting line, decision-making process, and procedures related to the managing capital 9. Review the risk management analysis and measurement system currently being used in support of the development of a robust ICAAP framework 10. Review risk management policies and limit structure. 11. Review the Banks MIS & IT systems used in the management of risk 12. Take responsibility for ensuring the quality and timeliness of deliverables. 13. Take a leadership role in managing and coordinating project teams and activities where needed. 14. Assist with IFCs other Bank Advisory Services Program activities in the Africa region, as needed. DELIVERABLES / SPECIFIC OUTPUTS EXPECTED FROM CONSULTANT Key deliverable areas include: 1. Capital Management Policy 2. ICAAP Policy 3. ICAAP Framework 4. Training Workshops on Capital Management and ICAAP 5. Risk Governance 6. Stress Testing procedure manuals for credit, interest rate, and liquidity risk.
