Description: The Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), through the Ministry of Finance represented by the Technical Committee for Monitoring and Evaluation of Reforms (CTR), obtained funding from the French Development Agency for the Financial Governance Project of the European Union delegation (due). Part of the sums granted for this funding is expected to be used to finance the acquisition and deployment of biometric recording kits for the Directorate General of Taxes (DGI); This market is part of the Action Plan of the Minister of Finance, which aims to make the tax identification number (NIF) reliable and to identify a larger number of taxpayers in the DRC. Thus, the particular objective of this market is to acquire equipment (kits) for the capture and recording of biometric data to strengthen the taxpayer identification process at the DGI.
